Vet Organics™ Ear Drops

Vet Organics ear drops are designed for frequent, even daily use for dogs and cats over 8 weeks of age. They are tough enough to be used as an organic alternative to conventional medicated ear drops, but gentle enough to be used regularly as an ear wash to maintain healthy ears.

The Organic Ear Drops contain spring water, organic peppermint oil, organic spearmint oil, organic lemon eucalyptus oil, organic tea tree oil, organic rosemary oil, saponified organic coconut, olive, and jojoba oils. This oil blend was chosen as these oils exhibit anti-inflammatory activity and also for their effectiveness in killing bacteria, yeasts, and ear mites.

The Organic Ear Drops can be used in place of medicated ear drops to treat bacterial and yeast infections as well as ear mites. They can also be used as a cleansing ear wash to reduce waxy buildup and decrease future infections.

The Organic Ear Drops do not contain alcohol or acetic acid which can cause burning and stinging. They are recommended for dogs & cats over 8 weeks of age. 8oz. bottle.

Efficacy

Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops were developed after extensive research. The product has been clinically proven to work in most pets when used as directed. Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops can be used with conventional medications (such as orally or parenterally administered antimicrobials for infectious otitis and corticosteroids for atopic otitis,) or other natural therapies (herbs and nutraceuticals) as needed to allowing healing of diseased and damaged otic tissues. Since no product can be expected to be effective in 100% of patients, rarely another ear drop will need to be prescribed in the event that Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops are not efficacious. For pets with severe otitis, it may be prudent to use a medicated ear drop initially to put the disease into remission and use Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops for maintenance therapy.

Pets with ear mites may also require parenteral treatment with an approved medication in addition to topical therapy with Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops.

Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops can also be used for normal grooming and maintenance purposes. For pets with chronic otitis, regular, even daily use, is indicated to keep the otitis under control.

Safety

Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops are safe when used as directed. In the event of skin sensitivity (which may be manifested by redness or itching,) the ears should be flushed with water and another product chosen.

Contraindications

Pets with known susceptibility to any of the ingredients in Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops should not be treated with Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops.

Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops are indicated for pets with otitis externa and an intact tympanic membrane. They have not been tested in pets with otitis media or otitis interna, or in pets with a ruptured tympanic membrane.

Side Effects

To date, there have been no reports of side effects when pets are treated as directed with Vet Organics Organic Ear Drops.
